My Ektar 100 film.
As a photography enthusiast, I was always looking for new film to experiment with. That's when I stumbled upon Kodak Ektar 100 film. This film promised to deliver vibrant, saturated colors and fine grain, making it perfect for portrait and landscape photography. So, I decided to give it a try. (See beow for the images.)
My first opportunity to use the Kodak Ektar 100 film was in Texas, where I was visiting friends. I took some portraits of my friends, and the results were incredible. The film perfectly captured the warm, sunny Texas weather with deep, rich colors and sharp details. The skin tones were particularly impressive, with a natural, lifelike look. The film's fine grain also helped to smooth out any imperfections, making the images look polished and professional.
Next, I decided to use the roll in Albany, New York, to capture the stunning landscapes in the area. The Kodak Ektar 100 film was perfect for this, as it brought out the trees’ rich greens and the sky’s deep blues. The film's high saturation also made the colors of the autumn leaves stand out, creating a truly breathtaking image.
Finally, in Germany to try my hand at street photography. The Kodak Ektar 100 film was once again a great choice, as it captured the hustle and bustle of the city in a way that was both vibrant and gritty. The film's fine grain helped to give the images a sense of motion and energy, making them feel alive and dynamic.
Overall, my experience with the Kodak Ektar 100 film was fantastic. The film exceeded my expectations regarding color, saturation, and fine grain. It was perfect for portraits, landscapes, and street photography, and I can't wait to use it again on my next photography adventure.
